Changing your store's currency

You can change your store's currency at any time. You can do so via the Zibbet admin panel. Simply click on "General" (bottom-left of your admin panel) then select the "Account" tab (far-right).

Click "Change currency" button and you'll see the following modal:

If you have products already listed, we'll update your prices for these products according to the current exchange rate. We use the European Central Bank for currency rates. For simplicity we round your prices to the nearest dollar. Prices less than "1" after conversion won't be rounded. For example, if the price is 9.43 after conversion, we'll round it to 9. If the price is 9.57, we'll round it to 10.

The conversion process can take a few minutes. You'll receive an email to let you know once it has been completed. Once it is completed, you can go through and check your prices and edit them if necessary. We recommend going to your Zibbet marketplace store (zibbet.com/yourstorename), as that's the easiest way to see your products prices. Then simply click on the items you want to edit and you'll see an "edit" link at the top of that item (pictured below).

NOTE: On your standalone website, your buyers will browse and buy in your store's currency. However, on the Zibbet marketplace, shoppers can browse and buy in their preferred currency. If you see orders placed in a different currency, this means you made a sale from an International buyer through the Zibbet marketplace. If you find that you are losing money on the conversion rate, please contact us to let us know. For example: your product is listed at $20 USD, but you only received $19.50 USD. We're monitoring this closely and want to make sure this isn't happening.
