Help Guide: How do I add a product to a sales channel?
This specific help guide will walk you through the workflow of getting your existing products onto the Facebook Shop sales channel.
Once you have selected what products you'd like to add to the Facebook Shop sales channel (refer to this help guide if you're unsure how to do this), you'll see a modal appear.
Select "Facebook Shop" and click the "Continue" button.
You'll then be taken into the "Add channel workflow".
Select a category
There is only 1 required attribute needed for Facebook Shop, and that's to assign a category to your products.
You can also use the checkboxes on the left-hand side to bulk select and change the category for multiple products at once. If you do this, you'll see a new button appear in the dark bar, called "Select category".
Note: There's a lot of categories that Facebook supports, that is not relevant to the typical Zibbet seller. We've found the general path is going to be: Arts & Entertainment > Hobbies & Creative Arts > Arts & Crafts, and then go from there.
Once finished, click the "Publish" button in the dark bar at the bottom of your screen. Your products will then be made active on your Facebook Shop and available for purchase.
Please note: It can take a long time to see your products appear on your Facebook Shop. Facebook reviews and processes each product before publishing it, and this is out of our control. We recommend checking in periodically, and you can always email us if you're concerned.
